It’s a Kidzz World is a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids feel seen and understood through literacy, imagination, children’s books, family resources and community partnerships.

It’s a Kidzz World began with a simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen, understood, encouraged and included.
Our stories and resources are created to meet children where they are, celebrate their unique strengths and encourage them to grow with confidence, curiosity and hope.
By bringing together children’s literacy, imagination, neurodiversity, family connection and community partnerships, we create opportunities for children to discover courage, embrace their creativity and see the wonderful possibilities that lie ahead.
Why We Began
Stories can open more than books
Dawn and David Walton shared a dream of creating more than children’s books. They envisioned a place where stories could build confidence, spark imagination, strengthen families and help children discover the gifts they bring to the world.
That dream became It’s a Kidzz World, where books, creative experiences and community come together to help children grow, one story at a time.

Dawn brings the heart of It’s a Kidzz World to life through stories, characters and ideas designed to help children recognize their gifts and possibilities.
David Walton
Co-Founder, Technology & Development
David builds the systems, partnerships and practical foundation that help the organization’s stories, programs and vision reach more children and communities.
